CG High Court Hindi typing is unlike any other Hindi typing test in India. It happens on Ubuntu Linux inside LibreOffice Writer, using the Vedmata m17n keyboard layout via IBus — not the Mangal or KrutiDev keyboards used everywhere else. If you've been practising on Windows, you are preparing for the wrong exam.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Words to type | 250 words |
| Time given | 10 minutes |
| Required speed | 25 WPM |
| Keyboard | Vedmata m17n (Ubuntu IBus) |
| Platform | Ubuntu Linux · LibreOffice Writer |

💡 Pro Tip: Print the PDF and place it beside your screen. Real exam gives you a printed paper on your left/right — not another screen. Developing paper-to-screen eye movement is critical. Candidates who practise only screen-to-screen are at a major disadvantage in the exam hall.
English typing in CG High Court follows the universal QWERTY keyboard — but the environment is still Ubuntu Linux + LibreOffice Writer. The content is rich with formatting — bold, italic, underlined headings, superscript, subscript, numbered lists, and Hindi words inline within English paragraphs. This is not plain typing. It is a real document reproduction skill.

💡 Key Insight from Real Exam: CG High Court English papers are NOT simple prose. They contain numbered clauses, underlined section headings, bold legal terms, and occasional Hindi words or phrases. Our 60 English sets replicate exactly this format — with proper superscript, subscript, and mixed-language content.
Junior Judicial Assistant (Computer) is a specialized post — distinct from regular JJA. It demands higher typing endurance with longer passages and only English typing skill is tested. 🏆 Strategy for JJA Computer Candidates: The 20-minute continuous typing requirement is the real challenge. Regular 10-minute sets build speed but not the stamina needed for JJA Computer. Practise these 20 specialized sets alongside the regular English sets. Being over-prepared for endurance is a genuine competitive advantage in the exam hall.
About TypingWarriors: This website was built by someone who personally sat the CG High Court typing test and typed in the real exam on Ubuntu Linux with Vedmata m17n. The information here comes from real experience, not textbooks.
The Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur typing test is the most unique typing exam among all state courts in India. While other states use Windows with Mangal/KrutiDev, CG High Court uses Ubuntu Linux with LibreOffice Writer and the Vedmata m17n keyboard layout.
The exam is special because candidates are given a printed paper and must type exactly what is on it — with all formatting — onto the LibreOffice screen. This is not simple speed typing. It is a real office skill test that simulates actual court clerk work.

⚠️ Important: If you are practising on Windows with Mangal or KrutiDev — that is WRONG for CG High Court exam. You must learn Vedmata m17n on Ubuntu Linux. TypingWarriors' online test and practice sets are built specifically for this environment.
The biggest challenge in the CG High Court typing exam is that candidates must look at a printed paper and type on screen. This skill is completely different from screen-to-screen typing. Candidates who only practise screen-to-screen are at serious risk of failure in the real exam.
💡 Pro Tip: In the real exam, the paper is placed to your left or right, and the screen is in front. Your eyes move between paper and screen. This habit takes time to develop — which is exactly why practising from printed sets is mandatory.
JJA is the most applied-for post in CG High Court. It is a judicial branch post where the work involves typing court orders, judgements, and case files. The typing test content is judicial in nature — legal terms, Latin phrases, court order formats. Required: 250 words (Hindi) and 300 words (English), each within 10 minutes — i.e., 25 WPM Hindi and 30 WPM English. The typing test is the final qualifying round after the written exam.
AG3 is an administrative branch post involving office correspondence, government circulars, official notices, and government orders. The speed requirement is the same as JJA — 250 words Hindi and 300 words English in 10 minutes each. AG3 posting is in the administrative offices of the High Court.
JJA Computer (Junior Judicial Assistant Computer) has only English typing skill test — no Hindi typing test. The requirement is 500 words in 20 minutes (25 WPM). Content is computer and IT focused — e-courts, digital case management, judicial software. The extra 10 minutes demand sustained concentration that regular practice does not build. Our 20 specialized JJA Computer sets are designed exactly for this stamina requirement.
The DEO post involves data entry type work — databases, tables, numerical data, mixed content. Typing paper contains tables, number series, dates, mixed Hindi-English data. Same Ubuntu Linux Vedmata m17n format. Speed requirement is 250 words Hindi and 300 words English in 10 minutes each.
The Translator post requires typing tests in both Hindi and English. Content is translation-type — passages moving between languages — with mixed vocabulary, Sanskrit-derived legal terms, and high precision requirements. Both Hindi and English practice sets are essential for Translator candidates.
📌 All posts (except JJA Computer) use the same exam environment: Ubuntu Linux + LibreOffice Writer + Vedmata m17n + Lohit Devanagari font. JJA Computer uses QWERTY for English only. This means all our practice sets are usable by all post candidates.
🔴 First time in India — someone has publicly shared both the official CG High Court typing skill test paper AND their evaluated answer sheet via Prev Year Paper. No coaching centre has this. No YouTube channel has this. Only TypingWarriors.
The founder of TypingWarriors personally sat the CG High Court Assistant Grade 3 (AG3) official skill test on 7 December 2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh — 2nd shift — officially conducted by the Chhattisgarh High Court.
After the result was announced, an Prev Year Paper (Right to Information) application was filed with the CG High Court. The response contained all four documents now available here.
💡 Pro Strategy: Use the Prev Year Paper question paper as your first benchmark set. Type it first without a time limit and check accuracy. Then add the timer. When you achieve 90%+ accuracy on this official paper within the allotted time — you are exam-ready.
India has many typing practice websites — but there was no dedicated platform for CG High Court Vedmata m17n Ubuntu Linux environment when TypingWarriors was built.
🙋 Personal Note: TypingWarriors was built by the candidate who personally sat the CG High Court typing exam. The experience showed that proper practice material did not exist online. This platform was built so that future candidates do not face the same problem.
Downloading PDFs is only one part of preparation. Real mastery comes when you practise in a live typing environment — exactly like the exam.
TypingWarriors' online platform is a complete screen-to-screen typing environment that specifically replicates the CG High Court exam experience:
Online Vedmata m17n keyboard practice → PDF sets download → JJA Computer sets → Official Previous Year Skill Test Paper benchmark. This complete system will make you 100% confident in the exam hall.
