Why Ubuntu Cloud

Not a Simulation. The Real Thing.

Browser typing practice is great for daily reps. But the actual exam will catch things only a real Ubuntu desktop reveals — input method quirks, space key behavior, LibreOffice formatting. Know those before exam day.

🐧

Actual Ubuntu 22.04 GNOME Desktop

Not emulated, not simulated in JavaScript. A real Ubuntu 22.04 GNOME Shell desktop running in our cloud, streamed to your browser via noVNC. Taskbar, file manager, everything.

⌨️

IBus-m17n 1.4.36 + Vedmata m17n

The exact same input method stack that CG High Court exam servers run. Including the patched Vedmata .mim file with correct space-key behavior — no guessing how it will feel.

📝

LibreOffice Writer — Exam Configuration

LibreOffice Writer pre-configured with Mangal font, correct page margins, and Hindi rendering. Type exactly as you will on the day — same cursor behavior, same Devanagari shaping.

🔐

Isolated Per-User Container

Each user gets their own Podman container — your desktop is private, your files are yours. Container resets between sessions so you always start clean.

⚡

Fast Oracle Cloud ARM Infrastructure

Hosted on Oracle Cloud's Mumbai region ARM instances. Low latency from anywhere in India. The desktop stays responsive throughout your 4-hour practice session.

🎟️

Access Codes for Groups

Coaching institutes and group buyers can request access codes (UB- prefix). Redeem a code in your dashboard — no payment flow needed if a code covers your slot.

FAQ

Questions about Ubuntu Access

What is the price? ▼
₹255.90 per slot, per month. Payment is processed securely via Razorpay.
Can I try it before I pay? ▼
Yes. Message us on Telegram and we'll give you a free 1-day testing code so you can try the real Ubuntu desktop before booking a paid slot.
What does one month of access mean for slots? ▼
When you pay for a slot in month X, you can use that slot's 4-hour window every day for the rest of month X. So if you book the 8 AM–12 PM slot in September, you get it from your purchase date through September 30. A new payment is needed for October.
How many seats are there per slot? ▼
Each slot has 3 seats to ensure a smooth, lag-free desktop experience for every user. Once a slot is full, it shows as Full and cannot be booked. Book early for popular time slots.
What happens if I miss my slot window today? ▼
Your subscription continues — you can use the slot again the next day. You can't carry over missed hours, but your access remains valid for the whole month. Think of it like a gym membership — if you miss a day, you just come back tomorrow.
Do I need to install anything? ▼
No. The Ubuntu desktop runs on our server and is streamed to your browser. You just need a modern browser (Chrome recommended) and a physical keyboard. No downloads, no VM setup, no configuration.
What is your refund policy? ▼
If you have any issues with your purchase, please reach out to our support team and we'll be happy to help.
