📝 Why Do You Need Separate Hindi Practice Sets?

CG High Court Hindi typing is unlike any other Hindi typing test in India. It happens on Ubuntu Linux inside LibreOffice Writer, using the Vedmata m17n keyboard layout via IBus — not the Mangal or KrutiDev keyboards used everywhere else. If you've been practising on Windows, you are preparing for the wrong exam.

⏱️ Exam Specification — JJA / AG3 Hindi Typing

Specification Detail
Words to type250 words
Time given10 minutes
Required speed25 WPM
KeyboardVedmata m17n (Ubuntu IBus)
PlatformUbuntu Linux · LibreOffice Writer
FontLohit Devanagari, 12pt

⌨️ Hindi Keyboard Layout Options on Ubuntu Linux

  • Vedmata m17n — The official CG High Court layout. Available on TypingWarriors right now. Practice it in your browser without installing Ubuntu.
  • Remington Gail m17n — Also supported in Ubuntu IBus. Will be available on TypingWarriors soon.

📄 What is inside these Hindi Practice Sets?

  • ~250 words per set — designed for a 10-minute typing session at 25 WPM
  • Bold, Italic, Underline formatting within sentences — exactly like real exam papers
  • Headings and sub-headings — including bold underlined headings
  • Superscript & Subscript — like 1st, 2nd, H₂O, CO₂ — same as in official exam
  • English words inline within Hindi text — legal terms, abbreviations, court references
  • Legal and administrative vocabulary — court orders, government notices, judicial language

💡 Pro Tip: Print the PDF and place it beside your screen. Real exam gives you a printed paper on your left/right — not another screen. Developing paper-to-screen eye movement is critical. Candidates who practise only screen-to-screen are at a major disadvantage in the exam hall.

🌐 Why Do You Need Separate English Practice Sets?

English typing in CG High Court follows the universal QWERTY keyboard — but the environment is still Ubuntu Linux + LibreOffice Writer. The content is rich with formatting — bold, italic, underlined headings, superscript, subscript, numbered lists, and Hindi words inline within English paragraphs. This is not plain typing. It is a real document reproduction skill.

⏱️ Exam Specification — JJA / AG3 English Typing

Specification Detail

Time given10 minutes
Required speed30 WPM
KeyboardUniversal QWERTY

📄 What is inside these English Practice Sets?

  • ~300 words per set — designed for a 10-minute session at 30 WPM
  • Bold, Italic, Underline formatting — mid-sentence, in headings, in legal citations
  • Superscript — 1st, 2nd, Article 21A, Section 144(2)
  • Subscript — H₂O, CO₂, chemical formulae in scientific legal context
  • Hindi words inline within English text — like case names, legal terms, designations
  • Judicial and administrative language — court orders, government circulars, notices, letters

💡 Key Insight from Real Exam: CG High Court English papers are NOT simple prose. They contain numbered clauses, underlined section headings, bold legal terms, and occasional Hindi words or phrases. Our 60 English sets replicate exactly this format — with proper superscript, subscript, and mixed-language content.

💻 JJA Computer Post — Why Are Separate Practice Sets Needed?

Junior Judicial Assistant (Computer) is a specialized post — distinct from regular JJA. It demands higher typing endurance with longer passages and only English typing skill is tested. The content is computer and IT-focused judicial work, requiring consistent typing concentration for a full 20 minutes.

⏱️ Exam Specification — JJA Computer

📄 What is inside our 20 JJA Computer Sets?

  • 📄 Sets 01–10: Computer law & IT-related judicial content — e-court systems, digital records, case management software
  • 📄 Sets 11–15: Complex judicial orders with numbered clauses, tables, heavy bold/italic/underline formatting
  • 📄 Sets 16–20: Ultra-long endurance sets — 600+ words to push your stamina well beyond the exam requirement

🏆 Strategy for JJA Computer Candidates: The 20-minute continuous typing requirement is the real challenge. Regular 10-minute sets build speed but not the stamina needed for JJA Computer. Practise these 20 specialized sets alongside the regular English sets. Being over-prepared for endurance is a genuine competitive advantage in the exam hall.

India's First — Official Skill Test Skill Test Paper 2024

Official documents from the CG High Court AG3 skill test held on 7 December 2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. A real candidate sat the exam, filed an official request (RTI), and received the original evaluated answer sheets — all available here for free.

⚖️ CG High Court Typing Test — Complete Guide (JJA, AG3, JJA Computer, DEO, Translator)

About TypingWarriors: This website was built by someone who personally sat the CG High Court typing test and typed in the real exam on Ubuntu Linux with Vedmata m17n. The information here comes from real experience, not textbooks.

The Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur typing test is the most unique typing exam among all state courts in India. While other states use Windows with Mangal/KrutiDev, CG High Court uses Ubuntu Linux with LibreOffice Writer and the Vedmata m17n keyboard layout.

The exam is special because candidates are given a printed paper and must type exactly what is on it — with all formatting — onto the LibreOffice screen. This is not simple speed typing. It is a real office skill test that simulates actual court clerk work.

🖥️ Technical Setup of the Exam

⚠️ Important: If you are practising on Windows with Mangal or KrutiDev — that is WRONG for CG High Court exam. You must learn Vedmata m17n on Ubuntu Linux. TypingWarriors' online test and practice sets are built specifically for this environment.

📄 What does the Typing Paper contain?

🎯 How to Practise Paper-to-Screen Typing — The Correct Method

The biggest challenge in the CG High Court typing exam is that candidates must look at a printed paper and type on screen. This skill is completely different from screen-to-screen typing. Candidates who only practise screen-to-screen are at serious risk of failure in the real exam.

💡 Pro Tip: In the real exam, the paper is placed to your left or right, and the screen is in front. Your eyes move between paper and screen. This habit takes time to develop — which is exactly why practising from printed sets is mandatory.

Step-by-Step Practice Method

  1. Step 1 — Download PDF: Download your practice set PDF from below. All 60 sets are available.
  2. Step 2 — Print or use phone: Print the paper. If no printer, open the PDF on your phone and place it next to your screen.
  3. Step 3 — Open LibreOffice or our Editor: Open our LibreOffice Writer Simulator in a new tab. Set up Vedmata m17n on Ubuntu if using actual Linux.
  4. Step 4 — Type from paper: Apply formatting as you see it — bold, italic, headings. Focus on accuracy first, speed second.
  5. Step 5 — Compare and review: After finishing, compare with the PDF. Note every formatting mistake — these cost marks in the real exam.
  6. Step 6 — Build speed: Once you consistently achieve 95%+ accuracy on a set, move to the next set and add a timer.

🏛️ JJA, AG3, JJA Computer, DEO and Translator — Details for Each Post

⚖️ Junior Judicial Assistant (JJA) — Most Popular Post

JJA is the most applied-for post in CG High Court. It is a judicial branch post where the work involves typing court orders, judgements, and case files. The typing test content is judicial in nature — legal terms, Latin phrases, court order formats. Required: 250 words (Hindi) and 300 words (English), each within 10 minutes — i.e., 25 WPM Hindi and 30 WPM English. The typing test is the final qualifying round after the written exam.

🏛️ Assistant Grade 3 (AG3) — Administrative Post

AG3 is an administrative branch post involving office correspondence, government circulars, official notices, and government orders. The speed requirement is the same as JJA — 250 words Hindi and 300 words English in 10 minutes each. AG3 posting is in the administrative offices of the High Court.

💻 JJA Computer — IT-Focused Judicial Post

JJA Computer (Junior Judicial Assistant Computer) has only English typing skill test — no Hindi typing test. The requirement is 500 words in 20 minutes (25 WPM). Content is computer and IT focused — e-courts, digital case management, judicial software. The extra 10 minutes demand sustained concentration that regular practice does not build. Our 20 specialized JJA Computer sets are designed exactly for this stamina requirement.

💻 Data Entry Operator (DEO) — Data-Focused Post

The DEO post involves data entry type work — databases, tables, numerical data, mixed content. Typing paper contains tables, number series, dates, mixed Hindi-English data. Same Ubuntu Linux Vedmata m17n format. Speed requirement is 250 words Hindi and 300 words English in 10 minutes each.

📖 Translator — Hindi-English Mixed Content

The Translator post requires typing tests in both Hindi and English. Content is translation-type — passages moving between languages — with mixed vocabulary, Sanskrit-derived legal terms, and high precision requirements. Both Hindi and English practice sets are essential for Translator candidates.

📌 All posts (except JJA Computer) use the same exam environment: Ubuntu Linux + LibreOffice Writer + Vedmata m17n + Lohit Devanagari font. JJA Computer uses QWERTY for English only. This means all our practice sets are usable by all post candidates.

🏆 The Crown Jewel — Official Dec 7, 2024 Prev Year Paper Skill Test Documents

🔴 First time in India — someone has publicly shared both the official CG High Court typing skill test paper AND their evaluated answer sheet via Prev Year Paper. No coaching centre has this. No YouTube channel has this. Only TypingWarriors.

📅 Background — 7 December 2024, Bilaspur

The founder of TypingWarriors personally sat the CG High Court Assistant Grade 3 (AG3) official skill test on 7 December 2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh — 2nd shift — officially conducted by the Chhattisgarh High Court.

After the result was announced, an Prev Year Paper (Right to Information) application was filed with the CG High Court. The response contained all four documents now available here.

🎯 What do these Documents teach you?

💡 Pro Strategy: Use the Prev Year Paper question paper as your first benchmark set. Type it first without a time limit and check accuracy. Then add the timer. When you achieve 90%+ accuracy on this official paper within the allotted time — you are exam-ready.

🌟 Why TypingWarriors? — What Makes This Unique in India

India has many typing practice websites — but there was no dedicated platform for CG High Court Vedmata m17n Ubuntu Linux environment when TypingWarriors was built.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions — CG High Court Typing Practice Sets

Why must you type from paper in CG High Court, not from screen? +
Real office work for clerks and assistants involves typing handwritten or printed documents into the computer — that is the skill being tested. CG High Court tests that actual job requirement. A printed paper is given and you must type it on screen. This is India's most realistic typing test format.
Are these practice sets truly like the real exam? +
Yes. The founder of TypingWarriors personally sat the CG High Court typing exam. These sets are built from that real experience — same paragraph length, same formatting complexity (bold, italic, headings, lists), same mixed Hindi-English content, same legal/administrative vocabulary. This is not coaching centre material — it is built from actual exam experience.
How do I practise Vedmata m17n keyboard at home? +
Two options: (1) Install Ubuntu Linux and add Vedmata m17n keyboard in IBus — the real exam environment. (2) Use TypingWarriors' online CG High Court test — this simulates Vedmata m17n directly in your browser, no Ubuntu installation needed.
Do these sets work for both JJA and AG3? +
Yes. JJA and AG3 typing tests are in the same format — same OS, same keyboard, same LibreOffice. Content is also similar administrative/judicial in nature. All practice sets are equally useful for both posts.
What happens if you fail the typing test? +
If the candidate does not achieve the required speed and accuracy, they are not selected — regardless of written exam marks. The typing test is qualifying, so it must be taken seriously. Minimum accuracy and speed requirements must both be met.
Who obtained the official papers for the Dec 7 2024 paper and how? +
The founder of TypingWarriors personally sat the CG High Court AG3 skill test on 7 December 2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in the 2nd shift. After the result was announced, an Prev Year Paper application was filed under the Prev Year Paper Act with the CG High Court. The response included official question papers (Hindi + English) and the candidate's evaluated answer sheets. These documents are now available here — completely authentic and legally obtained.
What does the official Previous Year Skill Test Paper reveal that you can't get anywhere else? +
Skill test documents reveal: (1) The exact word count CG High Court actually uses, (2) Real formatting complexity — how many bold/italic, headings, lists appear, (3) Mixed Hindi-English content pattern, (4) Evaluation method — how the examiner checks and marks, (5) Penalty structure — which mistake gets how much deduction. No coaching centre, YouTube channel, or website can give you this verified information — it comes directly from the official source.
Why are separate JJA Computer practice sets necessary? +
JJA Computer has only English typing — no Hindi test. You need to type 500 words in 20 minutes (25 WPM). The challenge is not the WPM — it is the 20-minute continuous concentration. Regular 10-minute sets build speed but not this sustained endurance. Our 20 specialized JJA Computer sets are designed specifically for this — longer content, harder formatting, judicial computer vocabulary.
Is practising on MS Word enough? +
Absolutely not. CG High Court exam runs on Ubuntu Linux with LibreOffice Writer. MS Word and LibreOffice have different shortcuts, different interfaces, different font rendering, and Vedmata m17n does not work the same way on Windows. Candidates who only practise on Windows + MS Word get a real shock in the exam hall. TypingWarriors' browser-based simulator or actual Ubuntu Linux setup is the correct preparation.
Is it necessary to print practice sets, or can I type from phone? +
Printing is ideal because the real exam gives you a printed paper. If you have no printer, open the PDF on your phone or tablet and place the device beside your screen. The important thing is that the source material is on one side and the typing screen is on the other — you must develop eye movement between them. Typing from one screen to another does not build the right habit.
What is the CG High Court typing exam marking scheme? +
Based on the verified Skill Test Documents: Speed is measured in WPM. Mistakes result in deductions. Formatting mistakes (missing bold, wrong italic, missed underline) also carry a penalty. Minimum speed and minimum accuracy must both be qualified separately — speed alone is not enough. For the exact marking scheme, download the official evaluated answer sheet — that is the most authentic source available anywhere.
